Are you looking for a different way to experience photographs? Do you feel thumbnail galleries just don't have the reality of a real gallery? The virtual exhibit attempts to put a bit of that reality back.

This pseudo 3D environment allows you to move around images and zoom as much or as little as you like, allowing for greater control and a greater experience of the images.

This special exhibit consists of four different "rooms", three of which are based on theme and the last is a collection of the different photographs. The selection of work is photographs taken and uploaded onto different art sharing websites (deviantArt, GFX Artist and flickr) between June 07 and April 08. The main purpose of which was to look at the way each site worked and how different images were regarded in the different contexts. Is deviantArt just a home for the weird, dark, fake blood drenched images? Is flickr just about the amateur holiday snaps? This exhibit shows what I've discovered and discusses some of the issues and changes surrounding the shift from analogue to digital photography.

The Virtual Exhibit requires Flash Player 8 or higher.
